The Wilcox/Fuchs wedding was not your typical ceremony & reception. It had a little bit of a lot and a lot of everything else. What in the world does that even mean? Well, we'll try and explain...
I wish we had more photo's to share that captured this particular day, but luckily we have a montage of video's that can get the job done. Sarah & Jordan tied the knot on January 19, 2019. We officially met this amazing couple at a bridal show at The Worthington in Ellenton, Florida. I'm not saying we had anything to do with them changing their venue, but if it wasn't for a Facebook post we made about this particular bridal show, the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. would have never seen this amazing venue... you're welcome!
Jordan had an entire vision of what he wanted this special night to be. We talked many times over the phone and he mentioned how he wanted this to be a night the he, his bride and their guests would never forget. He was successful in doing just that!
A typical run-of-show for a wedding goes like this:
Ceremony
Cocktail Hour
Dinner
Party
Last Dance/Special Send off/End of Night
There are obviously other formalities included throughout the evening but thats the essential flow of a wedding and reception - typically 5-6 hours total. Jordan and Sarah created their own schedule of events:
The Jordan & Sarah Show
Ceremony
Cocktail Hour
Dinner
Comedy Show
Dancing
Darth Vader & Storm Troopers Crash Wedding
Party with Darth Vader
Cake Cutting and Candy Station Reveal
Party some more
End of Night
In all, the entire day was roughly 8-10 hours from beginning of ceremony to the end of the night. These two did not disappoint!
Have you ever been to a comedy show? Have you ever been to a comedy show during a wedding reception? Well, this was a first for us! Check out Comedian Cyrus Steele in action!
We also mentioned in the above "Jordan & Sarah Show," that they had wedding crashers attend. Not your typical wedding crashers, but specifically Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers. Jordan was so stoked, he could barely hold it together. Now tell me a groom who is more excited to party with Darth Vader than this guy??? Don't worry... we'll wait!
In the end, Sarah and Jordan said goodbye to their friends and family that traveled from all over the world to celebrate with them on this special night. Every thought and detail put into this weddings was spectacular and we were so honored to be a part of this amazing night.
