Line dancing is a lot of things. It’s exercise and it’s a great way to show off your sense of style (or sometimes lack there of). We put together some tips, tricks and suggestions on pulling off the best outfit when you hit the dance floor.
First, let’s start with your feet. If you are going dancing you want your feet to be comfortable and pain free. Flip flops will fall off, running shoes will stick to the dance floor and work boots will look silly and are heavy. Remember, you’re going line dancing and not to the beach or the gym. We suggest a nice pair of boots. Boots come in a variety of shapes, styles, colors and comfort levels. We don’t suggest ordering them online. Because each boot is made differently each boot will fit differently. We suggest you head to Redneck Outpost and try on a pair for yourself if you don’t believe us. That being said, the perfect boot is the one that fits your feet, looks good on you and of course fits your budget.
The next big decision you’ll need to make is what/shorts/skirt to wear when you head out. Sorry guys, we don’t recommend shorts and definitely don’t recommend skirts. We think you should wear a pair of jeans. The brand of jeans doesn’t matter as long as they are at your waist and are comfortable. Ladies, the world is your oyster. Shorts, skirts, sun dresses or jeans will do the trick. Just remember, dress for comfort and dress for hassle free.
Next is your top. Here at The White Buffalo Saloon you will see a variety of styles. You can’t go wrong with a cowboy style or shirt nor can you go wrong with your favorite v-neck t-shirt. Remember, it’s about comfort so keep that in mind. You don’t want to wear anything too tight that you can’t move or too loose that you get lost in your top. If you can’t find anything in your closet then we suggest checking out The White Buffalo Saloon’s General Store where you can get a pretty sweet looking shirt.
If you want to wear a cowboy hat you’ll fit in perfectly. If not, you can always wear your favorite trucker hat… Just don’t wear it backwards.
Ladies, if you wear earrings you’ll want to stick with the studs. Those big dangle earrings can get caught in your hair or on your clothing while you’re dancing and we don’t want a wardrobe emergency now do we?
Oh, and one more things … the more confident they are in their outfit the more confident they will be on the dance floor.
If you are looking for some boots, jeans or shirts to make your outfit perfect make sure you stop by Redneck Outpost and tell them Rich and Tim sent you!
